Stockholm

The capital city of Sweden, this is the real center of Sweden. This is were the governement has its seat, the Riksdag, were all political matter has its heart. This is also were the royal castle is were the King and Queen are living. This is also the center of fashion in Sweden, and also the center of media were all tv-channels have its head seats. Stocholm has actually a very unique status and almost every organization of any kind in national level, have its seat just in Stockholm and no were else. With a population with more than 1 million citizens this is with no doubt the largest city in Sweden and in the Nordic, well, with some competition from Copenhagen that sometimes claims to be larger and as well as Stockholm, they both compete of the title as "The Nordic Capital".

Stockholm is a city on many islands and have many bridges, it has its nickname as the Nordic Venice and has a yearly water festival.

In Stockholm there is many buildings worth to see, Stadshuset (The Townhall) for exemple is a very common motive in the skyline of the city. The old town, the royal castle, the parlament or the Riksdag in swedish. While i Stockholm a visit in the amusement park Gröna Lund is also worth a visit.

Stockholm is sometimes concidered to be the most beautiful capital city of Europe, and its a shameful pity that I have not been there myself yet.
